An appraisal tool that shows its work
Most tools give you a number and ask you to trust it. We test DomainWolf against real sales and publish how often it is right.
- Real sales onlyCompleted sales, never asking prices or listings.
- Tested on unseen salesOne sale in five is held back and never used for training.
- Published, good or badOur hit rate, typical miss and bias are public, including where we get it wrong.

Questions
How accurate is the estimate?
We publish it. DomainWolf is tested on real sales it never saw during training, and the results, including where it misses, are on our Accuracy page. Every report also shows a range and a confidence level instead of one number, with every signal behind it.
Does DomainWolf use AI?
No. Every score comes from transparent rules and public data. The same domain always gets the same answer, and you can see exactly why.
Where does the data come from?
Official registry records (RDAP) for registration dates, DNS for which extensions are taken, the Internet Archive for website history, and a live visit to the website itself.
Why is your number different from other tools?
Some tools show retail asking prices or value the business running on a domain. DomainWolf estimates what the name itself is likely to sell for, so our figures are often more conservative.
What is a credit, and do credits expire?
One credit gives you one new appraisal. Opening a report you already paid for is free for 14 days. Credits never expire.
